The crowd was massive with the members of different organization like Harin Nepal, Sakha Nepal, Power shift Nepal, Himalayan Climate Save, PAN Nepal, Kathmandu Climate Saver and Students from different schools and colleges. They raised voice against the following things:

RAWA Hills Town Property

RAWA Hills Town Property

  1. Drilling our Himalayan for oil
  2. Massive deforestation in name of pseudo development
  3. Air pollution, plastic pollution, water pollution and leaders attitude towards it
  4. Vulnerable mountain condition

The founder of Harin Nepal Tanuja Pandey addressed us that the constitution of nepal has also given us right to clean environment but the reality is just opposite. She is also raising voice against catastrophic destruction of Nijgad forest. She mentoined that youth are against it because EIA of Nijgad project itself is a big error. Government seems to be indifferent toward consequences of destruction of Nijgad forest.

So the youths raised voice as ‘we want better future’ following Nepali slogan: ” हरियो वन कस्को धन ” ” हिमाल देखियो हिउँ देखिएन ” ” प्रकृति मास्न पाइदैन यस्तो बिकास चाइदैन ” ” बिकासको नाममा माफिया पन्ती चल्दैन “
