What is now known as Bodhgaya in India is not the real Bodhgaya, but Siddhartha is not Kushinagar. Siddhartha’s learned sacred place is the Oriya region. He received the proper attention while meditating diligently under the Peopal tree near Bodhgaya, near the Niranjan river of the Odian, which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Guru Padmasambhava arrived at the sacred place of the same Odian region. The great Indus of Odiana, one of the four great rivers that flows from the four directions of the Kailas Mountains, flows west of Odian and finally empties into the Arabian Sea.

When the river reaches Odiana, it forms a lotus-filled lake. As the root of lotus produces sweet milk juice, it is called “ocean of milk”.

Before Guru Padmasambhava was born, a huge, fully mature, beautiful, red lotus grew in the middle of the lake and in space, from the heart of Buddha Amitabh, the HRI of the red letter Lotus fell eight cubits above the corolla. The letter was light and immediately decomposed, without depending on the father and the mother’s terms and conditions, there arose an eight-year-old child who was fully equipped with specialty major and minor digits. He took Vajra and lotus in his hand and immediately started teaching the deities and goddesses of the area.
